Accessibility

QxOrbit wants everyone to be able to read and use this site, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or reduced motion. This page describes what the site does, what you can adjust, and how to tell us when something is in the way.

What the site does by default

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone. A “Skip to content” link appears first when you press Tab, and the current page is marked in the navigation.
  • Interactive figures (the workflow orbit, the use-case explorer, the lateral rails, the brand film) have visible controls with text labels, keyboard support, and a plain fallback when scripts are off.
  • Motion respects your operating system’s reduce-motion setting: loops do not autoplay, transitions are disabled, and the film shows its poster until you press play.
  • The brand film carries open subtitles in the picture and a text transcript below it.
  • Text can be enlarged with the browser’s zoom to 200 percent without loss of content. Color contrast meets WCAG 2.2 AA; the brand kit’s contrast audit is kept with the design system.
  • Language is declared on every page, and each page lists its translations so assistive technology can switch voices correctly. Arabic pages render right-to-left.

What you can adjust

The accessibility button in the lower corner of every page opens a small panel with switches for larger text, high contrast, reduced motion, stopping autoplay, and underlined links. Choices are stored on your device only, apply immediately, and can be reset from the same panel.

Standard and testing

The target is WCAG 2.2 level AA. Each change to the site runs an automated accessibility audit across every language in the build pipeline, alongside keyboard and reduced-motion checks in a real browser. Automated checks do not find everything, so we also review pages by hand with a screen reader on a regular cadence.

Translations

Pages in languages other than English are machine translated first and carry a note until a native reviewer has approved them. The English page is the reference for any difference in meaning.

Report a barrier

If something on this site does not work for you, we want to know what you were trying to do, which page, and which browser or assistive technology you use. A reporting contact will be published here when it is available.

Settings are kept on this device only.

These switches need JavaScript, which is off in this browser. Your system settings for text size, contrast and motion still apply.

  • Strictly necessaryAlways on

Remembers this choice and protects the contact form from automated abuse (Cloudflare Turnstile, contact page only).

  • Keeps the accessibility options you switch on, only after you ask the site to remember them. Off: the options apply to the current page only and nothing is saved.
