Cookie notice
Effective 2 October 2026. This notice is part of the privacy notice of CxOrbit LLC (“QxOrbit”, “we”, “us”). It explains the cookies and similar technologies used on qxorbit.ai, why, and how you can control them. It describes the site as it is built today and will be updated before anything new is introduced.
What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device so that it can recognize your browser later. Similar technologies include browser local storage, which keeps small amounts of data on your device for a site, and pixels or web beacons, which are tiny images used to record that a page or email was opened.
What we use, and why
The table lists everything qxorbit.ai stores in or loads into your browser. We do not use any of it for advertising or for tracking visitors, and nothing is shared for those purposes.
| Technology | Set by | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
cx-consent (local storage) |
qxorbit.ai | Remembers the choice you made in the cookie settings, so the notice is not shown again | Strictly necessary | 12 months, then we ask again |
cx-a11y (local storage) |
qxorbit.ai | Keeps the accessibility options you switch on: larger text, high contrast, reduced motion, stopped autoplay, underlined links. Written only when you change an option | Functional | Until you reset the options, switch functional storage off, or clear your browser data |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Cloudflare, on the contact page only | Checks that a form submission comes from a person, not automated software. For that purpose Turnstile processes your IP address, a TLS fingerprint, your browser’s User-Agent header, and our site key and origin. No Turnstile cookies were observed in our audit of 2 October 2026; see Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum | Strictly necessary | None observed |
Films and posters on the site are served from media.qxorbit.ai, a domain we operate on the same hosting provider; no cookies are set by that delivery.
What we do not use
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising or targeting cookies, social media plug-ins, pixels, web beacons, or any technology that follows you across websites. The only technical signals processed about your browser are those Turnstile needs on the contact page, and we do not use them for advertising or visitor tracking. We do not combine information about your visit with information from other sources, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
Categories
Strictly necessary. Needed for the site to work and to stay secure, such as remembering your cookie choice or protecting the contact form from abuse. These cannot be switched off in the settings, because the site would not function correctly without them; you can still block them in your browser.
Functional. Remember choices you make so you do not have to make them again, such as your accessibility options. You can switch this storage off in the cookie settings; the options then apply only for the page you are on and are not saved.
Analytics. Would measure how the site is used. Not used on qxorbit.ai.
Marketing. Would track visits to show advertising or measure campaigns. Not used on qxorbit.ai.
How to manage your choices
Cookie settings. Open the cookie settings from the link in the footer of every page, or from the notice shown on your first visit. The settings show each category and let you switch functional storage on or off; the accessibility panel offers the same switch as “Remember on this device”. Switching it off deletes any saved accessibility options. The settings need JavaScript; without it the site stores nothing at all, and you can remove existing site data through your browser.
Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser. The site keeps working without any stored data; the accessibility options then apply only for the current page. Instructions for common browsers are available from their makers, for example at the help pages of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, or at aboutcookies.org.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We honor both signals. Because the site carries no tracking, there is nothing to switch off; when your browser sends either signal and you have not made a choice yet, functional storage stays off until you turn it on.
Turnstile. The Turnstile check runs only on the contact page and only when the form loads. Blocking Cloudflare’s domain in your browser prevents the form from being submitted; you can still reach us by other means given on correspondence from QxOrbit.
Legal basis
Storing strictly necessary data and remembering your cookie choice do not require consent under the EU ePrivacy rules and equivalent laws, because they are needed to provide a service you asked for or to secure the site. The functional storage is written only after you ask the site to remember your accessibility options, an explicit choice you can reverse at any time. Where personal information is processed, the lawful bases are described in the privacy notice: our legitimate interest in running a safe, accessible site, and your consent where the law requires it. For the Turnstile check, Cloudflare acts as our processor and uses the signals only to detect automated traffic; Cloudflare also states in its Turnstile privacy addendum that it uses those signals as a controller, under its own legitimate interest, to improve its bot detection.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice before any new cookie or similar technology is introduced, in particular if analytics are ever added, and we will ask for consent first where the law requires it. The effective date at the top changes with each revision.
